Spring-Mounted Chicken Pecking Toy & Treat Dispenser – Clear Refillable Feeder

Interactive Treat Time for Your Backyard Flock

Give your flock something new to explore with this Spring-Mounted Chicken Pecking Toy & Treat Dispenser. Designed to add movement and variety to treat time, it responds to gentle pecks with a natural bounce and sway, encouraging chickens to investigate, peck, and forage.

Whether you’re adding interest to a backyard chicken run or refreshing your flock’s enrichment routine, this interactive dispenser makes offering dry treats a more engaging activity.

Peck, Bounce & Discover

The flexible black coil spring allows the clear chamber to move when touched. As chickens peck and the spring flexes, small pieces of feed can fall through the round dispensing openings for your flock to discover below.

The movement is powered entirely by contact—no batteries, charging cables, or electrical setup required. Feed release varies with the size of the feed pieces, fill level, and movement of the chamber.

Clear Chamber, Easy Feed Checks

See what’s inside without guessing. The transparent, refillable chamber keeps the remaining feed visible, making it easy to check when it’s time for a refill.

Add a suitable amount of clean, dry poultry feed and leave room for the contents to move. Choose pieces that fit through the dispensing openings to help the toy function as intended.

A Simple Addition to Your Outdoor Setup

The pointed ground stake is designed for placement in suitable soil, while the narrow spring holds the chamber above the ground. Install it in a firm, level area where your flock has enough space to approach and explore.

Its clear chamber and simple black base blend easily into a backyard run, grassy enclosure, or homestead setting. For a stable setup, push the pointed stake below the soil surface and keep the entire spring above ground.

More Ways to Explore

The dispenser can also be used in separate, supervised setups for ducks, outdoor birds, squirrels, or cats when appropriate dry feed or treats are selected. Match the contents to the animal, check that the pieces fit the openings, and observe how the animal interacts with the product.

For cats, use a secure enclosed catio with a firm soil bed and offer appropriately sized dry cat treats. Keep cat use separate from poultry and wildlife, and follow local wildlife-feeding guidelines when offering feed to outdoor birds or squirrels.
